Fuzzy Secretary Santa

You wanna take pictures of a scantily clad phone sex operator for fun? Although my plea for a photographer on FetLife was not much more sophisticated than that, an aspiring erotic photographer by the FetLife handle of “Quicksilver84″ took me up on the offer anyway, and we spent a few hours this afternoon taking pics of me. Although not as luminescent as my 40th birthday photos in Vivian Ronelle’s impeccably  lit studio, I was happy that Quicksilver captured a few great moments. It should be enough for a month or two to feed this blog, and to send to callers (I know I know, I’m months behind on thank-you follow-ups, I’m sorry…). My plan right now is to break the pictures out in three separate [read more...]

Lingerie Bar

My sister came in to help me unpack the last two days. It was amazing to hang out with her relationally, of course, but she’s also a whirlwind organizer. Not only did we get the kitchen and guest room completely settled, but she created the Lingerie Bar. I knew I wanted the Fuckatorium 3.0 (aka The Red Room) to only contain sexy Galiana things. Necessities, therefore, include: a couch (I learned the hard way a couch is comfier than a bed for lounging with a computer for hours), laptop (for blog posts, email, Twitter, and catching up on others’ sexy blogs, like Kink In Exile who mentioned me this weekend – awww thanks Alisa!), sex toys (they’re in here, but not yet unpacked), and, of [read more...]

Settling In

I realized today that I’ve been doing something extraordinary for the past ten days: settling in. I think my time in Houston never felt permanent enough to feel like I had settled into any kind of pattern. I remember a stretch of four days where I felt a calm sense that I knew what to expect, and I didn’t have any looming, unknown, massive tasks. Four days out of seven months is not a fantastic record. But we plan to be here in the great plains of central Illinois for at least a couple of years (where the sunsets have, I must admit, been far more spectacular than I remembered… I think it’s a ploy to lull me into a sense of welcome. It’s working.). [read more...]

Crooked Little House

The walls aren’t straight. The floors aren’t straight. The tub in the bathroom struggles a bit to drain because the floor is almost as tilted as the tub. We sleep downstairs, in part, because we’re a tiny bit concerned that one day the top of the house might decide to pay a friendly visit to the bottom of the house. I’m talking about my new home, as of October 1. It’s charming and adorable in that way that century-old homes can be, with a spider-web-filled basement and not quite enough electrical outlets, but fun architectural moldings around the archways downstairs and a cozy wrap-around porch for warm weather neighboring. The upstairs was clearly an afterthought: attic space enclosed when someone made a bit of cash, [read more...]

Stuff to Buy Reorg

I have reorganized my Stuff to Buy page (Stuff to Buy) so now the main page has info about custom pricing, but then splits into three pages to list things for sale: MP3s, Photo Sets, and Videos. Even though I only have 2 MP3s available at the moment, it still had to be the first page because I needed them to be alphabetical, even though videos sell better for me than photos MP3s. I am slightly annoyed by my own impracticality on that issue… I’m sure you’ve noticed the flurry of pay-to-view announcements lately on my blog. The truth is, I had a few things holding me back from producing more content: My “Stuff to Buy” page was a mess and it made me cringe [read more...]

My Hair Loves Houston & Other Observations

I just took this picture of myself: … and had some observations to share with you. * My hair loves Houston. It always has. My top 1000 hair days have been in Houston. Those wavy loose curls are from shampoo and conditioner only – no other product. That is what made my girl friends hate me in the 80s. * When I don’t get enough calls, I get bored and start playing with my camera. It was a slow night. Look what you made me do! Shame on you, you should be deeply, deeply ashamed of yourselves. * My head does not glow. There’s a lamp back there. * The Fuckatorium 2.0 gets chillier than the rest of the upstairs. I should fix the vent, [read more...]

I have set up The Fuckatorium enough for me to re-open my cam listing, and this is my 300th Blog Post! (queue streamers, horns, ticker tape, merriment and mirth all around) On 300 blog posts: Considering I started blogging Aug 15, that’s a little better than 40 blog posts per month… which is probably too damn many, but I’ve learned to accept and (usually) love my chattiness. I am proud of many of the things I’ve written here, and I have been touched again and again by the responses of people who have found the blog. On the Fuckatorium and cam: I wanted my 300th post to be special, so I spent the day finalizing my space, and I did a little video tour of [read more...]

After last night’s calls, I was surprisingly not obliterated today (in fact, I got most of my clothes unpacked, some laundry done, and some keys duplicated), which means I am comfortable saying that I am back on phones. The calendar is back up-to-date-ish with my approximate expectations for log-in times. My cam listing is still inactive, although I hope to activate it next week. Setup in the new Fuckatorium is well underway — the furniture is in place — but I want the whole room settled and free of boxes before I cam again. I know, I know, you don’t care if I have on makeup or what I’m wearing or if there boxes in the room… but I do, and it’s important to me [read more...]

You may have noticed that I’ve been sporadic with my logins in February. I’m finally ready to tell you why: there’s a 90% chance that I’m moving to a different city. And if we move, there’s a 70% chance it will be at the end of the month (30% chance it will be some time in March). The circumstances and timing of the move aren’t ideal. And moving is never fun. Thankfully, I’ve moved a lot in my life, and I’m pretty good at it. But this is the first time I’ve moved with vertigo, so it’s a bit of a stress to wonder how much that will affect me. The good news is, I’ll be much closer to my awesome family (mom, sister, nieces) [read more...]
